my creative journey
I discovered my love for art back in school, and it’s been a constant thread throughout my life ever since. Even when I explored different studies and career paths in my early twenties, creativity was always what brought me the most joy. Over time, I continued to nurture that passion, building my art business on the side while working full-time, until in 2020, I finally took the leap and became a full-time artist.
a new chapter
Now in 2025, I’ve rebranded and expanded beyond Lyric Art to offer a broader creative practice. My work now spans illustration, painting, and marketing support. It feels like a full-circle moment, bringing together everything I’ve learned, created, and loved over the years into one cohesive offering.
from lyrics to larger projects
My journey began with Lyric Art by Dominique, where I created bespoke hand-drawn pieces inspired by words and song lyrics. As my style developed, so did the scope of my work. I moved beyond pencil and began experimenting with new mediums and formats, from custom-painted basketballs and digital illustrations to branding and logo design. This evolution led to exciting collaborations with brands like Puma and the EFL, and helped me connect with a broader creative community.

a step into marketing
In 2022, I made a conscious decision to gain more experience in the marketing world. I worked with several hospitality brands, including Jason Atherton’s The Social Company, as well as Alfi, Players Social, and The Curling Club. The experience gave me valuable insight into branding, strategy, and storytelling from a different perspective, but it also made me realise how much I missed making art every day.
